About the company

Foreign trade, run end to end from Istanbul

R-Trade is a foreign-trade operator based in Istanbul. Behind the company are 20+ years of combined expertise in sourcing, customs clearance and freight, and one team that carries a deal from the first product name to the unloaded pallet.

The model is not a brokerage. The supply contract is signed in your name, so you buy at factory prices with no reseller margin on top, and a single manager stays on the deal from the first quotation to the closing documents.

That work covers 78 audited factories and 160+ product categories, around 50 supply contracts a year, in both directions: export from Turkey, import into Turkey, and the route through the USA.

Sourcing from Turkey

Inside the aggregator

The aggregator is our working catalogue of Turkish manufacturers: 78 factories our team has visited, audited and priced in person.

Every entry carries what the plant actually produces, current export prices, minimum order quantities and lead times. Seven manufacturing directions and 14 industries, narrowed down to the few factories that can hold your specification.

It is built for importers who want the manufacturer, not a middleman. Pick a supplier and we run the rest of the deal: contract, payment abroad, freight, customs clearance and delivery to your warehouse.

Why R-Trade

Five reasons to run the deal through one desk

Sourcing, contract, payment abroad, freight, customs and the warehouse door are stages of one job. We keep every stage inside a single Istanbul office, so nothing is handed between companies while your cargo is on the move.

0industries served from the Istanbul office, from textiles to construction chemicals

  • We contract the plant that makes your product, so the quote carries a factory margin and nothing stacked on top of it.

    0factories quoting us direct

Every offer names the plant, the line and the lead time, so you can check the price against the manufacturer yourself.

  • Our Turkish entity pays the supplier on the spot and invoices you under a single foreign-trade contract.

    0+supply contracts settled a year

Contract, invoice and currency control stay in Turkey. You transfer once and receive one closing package for accounting.

  • An inspector goes to the line, opens the cartons and signs the batch off while you can still refuse it.

    0manufacturing directions inspected on site

Photo and video from the shop floor plus a signed inspection act reach you before the goods are loaded.

  • Sea, road or air, export papers and clearance on both borders sit in the same agreement and the same invoice.

    0+product categories cleared and delivered

One document chain runs from the factory gate to your warehouse, with customs codes agreed before the truck moves.

  • The person who quotes you also books the truck and answers when the broker calls from the border.

    0+years of foreign-trade practice

Direct phone and messenger contact, a weekly status on every open shipment, no ticket queue between you and the answer.

Company services

R-Trade runs the deal, not just the search

Turnkey here means the literal thing: sourcing, contract, payment abroad, freight, customs and warehouse are six blocks of work carried by one desk in Istanbul, under one agreement, with one manager answering for the result.

  • Supplier sourcing and factory audit

We shortlist Turkish plants that genuinely make your product, then go and look at them before you commit to anything.

    • Your brief turned into a spec factories can quote against
    • On-site visit: lines, free capacity, quality control, warehouse
    • Samples, certificates and trade references verified in advance
    • Three comparable offers instead of one convenient supplier

    78audited factories on file

  • Foreign-trade contract and payment abroad

The deal is written down before money moves: scope, Incoterms, quality and penalty clauses, then a clean transfer to Turkey.

    1. Terms agreed
    2. Contract signed
    3. Payment sent
    4. Order booked
  • Freight by sea, road and air

Booking, loading supervision and a schedule fixed before the cargo leaves the plant.

    Sea
Container out of Istanbul, about 12 days port to port
    Road
Full and part loads across the land corridor
    Air
Urgent volumes and samples on the next flight
  • Customs clearance and certification

Declarations and HS codes on both sides of the border, with product certification where the code demands it.

  • Warehousing and consolidation

Cargo from several plants is collected in one Istanbul warehouse and leaves as a single load, on one set of papers.

    1. Intake and count
    2. Quality check
    3. Consolidation
    4. Loading
  • Document package and closing

Invoice, packing list, CoO and ATR — the closing set your bank and your customs officer accept first time.

FAQ

Questions and paperwork

Seven questions importers ask us before the first shipment, answered the way the deal actually runs. Every answer ends in a document you receive, and the file on the left opens on it.

  • You sign one foreign-trade contract with R-Trade, and we hold a separate supply contract with the plant. So you deal with a single counterparty in Istanbul instead of a factory that has never exported to your country. Specification, tolerances, packing, lead time and the penalty for a late shipment are written down before any money moves.

In your deal file: Foreign-trade contract

  • You pay R-Trade under the contract and we pay the plant in Turkey on your behalf, together with the currency control and the bank file that go with it. The usual split is an advance against a confirmed proforma and the balance against shipping documents, so your money is never sitting fully prepaid against goods that do not exist yet.

In your deal file: Payment order

  • Our average is 12 days from an accepted request to loading at the factory. Transit adds roughly 4 to 8 days by road to the nearest European border, or 18 to 25 days by sea to a distant port. In practice the production season, certification and the customs regime for your commodity code shift the date far more than the freight leg does.

In your deal file: Shipping schedule

  • Nothing leaves the plant without a pre-shipment inspection: we check the batch against the agreed specification and photograph the loading. A batch that fails does not ship, and rework or replacement is on the supplier under the contract. All 78 factories in our base were audited before they were allowed into a single deal.

In your deal file: Inspection report

  • The full set: contract with specification, invoice and packing list, CMR or bill of lading, certificate of origin, quality certificates and the customs declaration after clearance. We declare the cargo ourselves and hand the closing documents over with it, so your accountant receives one complete deal file rather than scattered scans.

In your deal file: Customs declaration

  • We do not set a floor of our own. The plant does, and it usually runs from one pallet to one truck depending on the product. For small volumes we consolidate several buyers into one truck so the freight per unit stays reasonable, and across 160+ product categories there is normally a factory that will work at your volume.

In your deal file: Order sheet

  • Either one agency fee agreed before the deal starts, or a margin already inside the price you approve. You choose the model and nothing is added later. Search, negotiation and the landed-cost pre-calculation cost you nothing: you see the factory price, freight, duty and our fee as separate lines before you commit to anything.

In your deal file: Cost breakdown

Nothing here matches your case? Send the product and the volume, and we come back with a shortlist of plants and a landed-cost estimate.
